(HPQ) stock are higher by 7.7% in the pre-market after the Wall Street Journal reported Xerox Holdings Corp. (XRX) is considering a for the $27 billion cash-and-stock offer for the company. Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) is higher by 1.6% this morning after reports by Bloomberg and Reuters Tuesday that it is considering a going-private transaction. Weight Watchers (WW) stock is down 15.1% after the company reported quarterly earnings, beating earnings per share estimates but missing revenue expectations. The Dow Jones is up 0.11%, the S&P 500 is up 0.09%, the S&P 500 is up 0.09%.

The dollar is down compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is down against the euro, down against the Yen and down against the Pound.
