First Look
Futures are pointed higher Thursday morning ahead of a key CPI report. The consumer price index is expected to rise at a faster pace of 0.7% in October, while core prices are expected to cool with a 0.5% jump. Cryptos are lower as the FTX fallout continues, with Sam Bankman-Fried telling investors that the company will have to file for bankruptcy unless it can get a cash injection. Rivian Automotive, Inc. (RIVN) is up 7.87% after the company topped earnings estimates and stuck to its 2022 production targets. Lastly, Six Flags Entertainment (SIX) is up 10.4% despite an earnings and revenue miss as, separately, the company amended its agreement with H Partners to increase its stake to 19.9% of the company's common stock. The Nasdaq is up 0.37%, the S&P is up 0.2%, the Dow Jones is up 0.12%.

Precious metals are mixed this morning. Gold is up 2.47 at 1709.21 per ounce. Platinum is up 6.86 at 996.71 while silver is down -0.13 at 21.2. The dollar is mixed compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is up against the euro, down against the Yen and down against the Pound. Bitcoin is down -5.97% to $16,617.21 while Ethereum is down -1.82% to $1,207.51.

Yesterday, 1,260,550 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 1,213,394 put contracts. The single-session put/call ratio was 0.96.
