First Look
Futures are pointed higher Friday morning following a strong trading day yesterday after the October CPI report showed consumer prices rising less than expected. China eased some of its COVID rules with shortened quarantines while scrapping a major restriction on international flights. Meanwhile, Toast (TOST) shares are 10.75% higher this morning after the cloud-based restaurant software management firm surpassed revenue projections and upwardly revised its guidance in addition to seeing its price target increase to $26 from KeyCorp. The Nasdaq is up 0.47%, the Dow Jones is up 0.42%, the S&P is up 0.4%.

The Hang Seng is up 7.74%, the Australia ASX All Ordinaries is up 2.86%, the Nikkei 225 is up 1.97% the Mumbai Sensex is up 1.95% and the Shanghai SE Composite Index is up 1.68%. In Europe stocks are mixed. The Euro Stoxx 50 is up 0.65%, the CAC 40 is up 0.45%, the DAX is up 0.43% and the FTSE 100 is down -0.36%.

Energy futures are up today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up 2.82 at 89.29 per barrel. Brent crude is up 2.71 at 96.38 per barrel. Natural Gas is up 0.01 at 6.25. Precious metals are mixed this morning. Gold is up 5.74 at 1761.19 per ounce. Platinum is up 5.36 at 1041.57 while silver is down -0.18 at 21.53. The dollar is down compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is down against the euro, down against the Yen and down against the Pound. Bitcoin is up 4.86% to $17,378.52 while Ethereum is up 6.81% to $1,286.64.
Put/Call Ratio
Yesterday, 3,102,959 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 2,233,579 put contracts. The single-session put/call ratio was 0.72.
