Markets are higher Thursday despite disappointing GDP results for the second quarter. GDP rose 6.5% last quarter after increasing 6.3% in the first quarter, however, economists were expecting a bigger rise of 8.5%. Initial claims data also underperformed as claims dropped to 400,000 from 419,000 the previous week, again analysts expected a large drop to 375,000 claims.
