Earnings Help Push Industrials, Financial Services Stocks to New Highs

During trading Friday, 160 stocks traded to a 52-week high, while 3 stocks bottomed out at new 52-week lows. The S&P 500 is up 1.19% so far today while the Dow is up 0.71%, the Nasdaq is up 1.59%, and the Russell 2000 is up 1.8%.

Stocks are rallying Friday. Better than expected economic data from the housing markets is helping drive the bullish sentiment today, after the economy recorded over a million new home sales, on estimates for 912,000 new homes sold. Earnings today were mixed, with Intel (INTC) falling sharp after reporting decreased data-center revenue, while Snap (SNAP) rallied after it continued its 2020 new user momentum.
