Brunswick, Crocs, Avery Dennison Lead List of New Highs

Over the last month the Consumer Cyclical sector has outperformed the market, increasing 8.87% while the S&P increased 7.11%.

Brunswick (BC) stock is on highs following Citigroup’s upgrade to Buy from Hold on the company. Meanwhile, Crocs (CROX) are higher after smashing earnings, reporting profits of $1.49 per share on estimates for $0.87 per share. Lastly, Camping World (CWH) is higher after yesterday’s announcement that it will accept cryptocurrencies as payment for RV’s and after today’s announcement that CWH invested in HearHere, a mobile audio entertainment app for travelers.

Industrials had the second largest presence on our 52-week highs, with 39 out of 170 highs coming from the Industrials sector. The Industrials sector is outperforming the market today, increasing 0.72% so far on the day. Over the last month the Industrials sector has underperformed the market, increasing 4.79% while the S&P increased 7.11%.

Avery Dennison (AVY) is on highs ahead of its before market earnings release tomorrow. Armstrong World Industries (AWI) is on highs after paring 8% losses at open following a mixed earnings report where the company slightly missed consensus estimates. Lastly, Lincoln Electric (LECO) reached highs after comfortably beating earnings, reporting profits of $1.37 per share on estimates for $1.19 per share.
