Winston Gold (WGMCF) Stock Higher After Announcing Montana Exploration Drilling

What’s Going on with WGMCF?

Winston Gold (WGMCF) stock is up this morning, May 13, after the company announced plans to begin exploration drilling in Montana. The junior mining company, based out of Winnipeg, Canada, will go ahead with exploration drilling at the Hard Cash property near Radersburg, Montana. The property is a lease-to-own joint venture with Bond Resource Inc. This morning, Winston Gold shares were up 5.06%, trading at $0.08 a share.

What Does This Mean for Winston Gold?

The 50/50 joint-venture Hard Cash property, with a mining history that predates WWII and a possible unmined gold mineralization, is of particular interest to Winston Gold.

"What attracted us to this property were the geological similarities it has to the vein system we are mining on the Winston property, which is located just 17.5 miles to the north," Winston Gold CEO Murray Nye explained. "An additional benefit is the fact that the Hard Cash property is located only 4.3 miles from our Paradine Mill Facility."

Six holes totaling 1,600 feet (488 meters) of drill core are planned at two locations. The first three holes will focus on the original Hard Cash vein system, while the other three holes will explore a new subparallel vein structure.
