Red White & Bloom Brands Inc. (RWBYF) stock nudged 0.51% lower after the company released a new broadcast titled “A Lesson in Cannabis: Second Mover Can Be Better Position.” Shares of RWBYF were trading at $0.90 per share on Thursday afternoon.

In the broadcast, which is also available as an editorial, the cannabis company stakes the position that first-mover status is fleeting. It cites MySpace and AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), which were superseded by Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram.

Red White & Bloom Brands Inc. is “methodically building a commanding position” in the U.S. as a multi-state operator (MSO) and refers to itself as a “super state operator, a reflection of its strategy to remain hyperfocused on dominating specific markets before expanding to others, which ensures it doesn’t get spread too thin.” The company has raised $44.5 million in June, with part of it used to pay off $7.7 million in debt.
