Qudian Inc - ADR (QD) is up 13.17% today after it jumped up over 35% during trading yesterday. No major news has been released about the company as market sentiment has shifted and seen the stock price surge over the past couple days. QD was trading around $1.70 at the end of last week and now is hovering around $2.90 marking a 70% increase in share price. Qudian is a Chinese financial services company focused on the enhancement of the online consumer credit service in China. The company was founded in 2014 as an online small consumer credit provider. Its last earnings report was on May 26 where it massively missed analysts expectations of -0.02 EPS with instead an EPS of -0.51.
