Halo Collective (HCANF) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary company Bophelo Bioscience & Wellness will partner with OG DNA Genetics Inc. to grow California-style cannabis in Lesotho. Bopehlo runs a cannabis cultivation site near Mafeteng, the first Special Economic Zone ("SEZ") in Lesotho, Africa. Shares of the company were trading higher 8.29% to $0.79 a share on Monday.
What Does This Mean For Halo Collective?
Although facing eight weeks of unusual weather, Bophelo finalized the summer harvest with more than 400,000 grams of sellable flower. It was able to produce eight strains providing over 20% of THC, which is comparable to the highest quality sun-grown cannabis found in Oregon and California.

Bophelo expects to make initial sample product sales abroad as soon as the protocols are firmly established, which should be completed by late July.
