What is going on with BKUCF?

Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (BKUCF) stock is higher today after the company concluded the first tranche of the 4,500 meter drilling program at its wholly-owned Amarillo Grande Uranium-Vanadium Project in Rio Negro Province, Argentina. Shares of BKUCF increased 1.86% to $0.1687 as of Wednesday at 11:17am. 

What does this mean for Blue Sky Uranium?

The completion of drilling at the Ivana North target area, which consisted of 1,591 meters and 40 holes, marks a huge milestone for the company. Results are currently being processed by a geophysicist as this is the first drilling completed in the area. Once received and interpreted, the results will then be used to identify areas with elevated uranium concentrations within the drill grid.

"We are pleased to have been able to complete this initial phase drilling at Ivana North despite encountering some technical and weather challenges, which impacted overall drilling production, and operating throughout in compliance with the extra conditions and restrictions resulting from the global pandemic," stated Nikolaos Cacos, Blue Sky President & CEO. "

The overall program strategy includes an initial ~1,500 meters of drilling at each of the Ivana North and Ivana Central targets, followed by 1,500 meters of follow-up detailed drilling targeting to better define the areas with the best results at both targets.  The next stage of the program will focus on completing the initial drilling at Ivana Central, where 286 meters in six holes were drilled in 2020.
