Bentley Systems (BYS) stock fell slightly Thursday after announcing it acquired INRO Software, a global leader in multimodal transportation planning, traffic simulation, and mobility visualization software. Shares of the company were trading lower -0.46% to $49.64 a share on Thursday.

The acquisition should expand Bentley’s capabilities in the mobility digital department, increasing the rate that transportation systems evolve to accommodate both urbanization and carbon reduction goals, as well as the transition to electric and autonomous vehicles.
