GoPlus Security raises $4 million in a series II+ private funding round

GoPlus Security, one of the largest cybersecurity providers in the Web3 industry has raised $4 million in a Series II+ private funding round.

The funding round attracted some of the leading venture firms, with the amount going towards fulfilling the firm’s mission in the Web3 industry.

This funding round adds to the funding secured by the company in 2022 through a private round conducted by Binance Labs.

With this funding, GoPlus Security plans to continue improving Web3 experiences by giving the community robust protection needed by millions of Web3 users globally.

GoPlus Security Gets Funding From To-Tier VC Firms

GoPlus Security has so far obtained $15 million in funding through multiple funding rounds.

Some of the leading Web3 VC firms that have invested in the company include Avalanche, Binance Labs, Crypto.com, Redpoint China Ventures, and SevenX Ventures.

The co-founder of GoPlus Security, Eskil Tsu, opined that the funding round demonstrated that the company had received endorsement from industry leaders, and it would work towards building a better future.

“This funding in our Private II+ round is not just a financial boost but a strong endorsement of our vision to redefine user security network in the Web3 space, in the Web3 way,” Tsu said.

Expanding Its Offerings

GoPlus Security plans to use the funding to expand its offerings including its User Security Network.

The company plans to create a Web3 User Security Network that will boost transparency while also empowering Web3 users.

This network presents open-access security data that Web3 users can leverage to verify their identities using decentralized data and computing layers.

Another service that this funding will support is an end-user service known as “SecWareX” launching this month.

GoPlus plans to launch SecWareX by working with “User Security Service” third parties such as Harpio, Kekkai, Trusta, Wallet Guard, and Webacy, among others.

With these offerings, GoPlus seeks to become a global leader in User Security Modules as a Service on multiple blockchains to create the foundation needed to improve Web3 user security.

GoPlus Is Reshaping Web3 Security

With its innovative AI module, GoPlus has attracted more than 10,000 partnerships and over 21 million User Security Data calls every day across more than 20 public blockchains.

GoPlus Security boosts safety using services such as SecWareX that focus on the end user, while also empowering developers using advanced resources.

GoPlus has seen increased interest in its security data infrastructure, whose usage has increased by 50,000 times since 2022, while the daily API calls have topped 21 million.

It has also leveraged AI to help the community identify the risks of tokens, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and malicious tactics.

Some blockchains that GoPlus is working with include Risk as a Service (RaaS) providers like Altlayer, zkSync, Manta, and Scroll.

The other crucial feature is the GoPlus Token which will serve as a utility token within the ecosystem.
