Technology stocks were ending higher, with late buying helping reverse earlier declines and with the SPDR Technology Select Sector ETF (XLK) Friday advancing 0.8% while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was climbing 2.0% this afternoon. In company news, CI&T (CINT) fell 6.7% after the Brazilian software firm Friday announced its acquisition of Somo Global, paying 49 million British pounds in cash and stock for the UK-based digital product agency, which is also eligible for up to 9.8 million pounds in earn-out payments based on its future performance.
