Consumer stocks were broadly lower with the SPDR Consumer Staples Select Sector ETF slipping 2.6% this afternoon while the SPDR Consumer Discretionary Select Sector ETF was falling 3.9%. In company news, ServiceMaster Global Holdings (SERV) rose about 9.8% after the home-services company earlier Thursday saying it is expecting between $510 million to $525 million in Q2 revenue, topping the Capital IQ consensus call looking for $476 million in revenue during the three months ending June 30.
