European ADRs Move Higher in Wednesday Trading

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by hotel booking site trivago (TRVG) and biopharmaceutical company ERYTECH Pharma (ERYP), which rose 13% and 4.4%, respectively. They were followed by semiconductor company Sequans Communications (SQNS) and petroleum company Equinor (EQNR), which were up 2.3% and 2%,

The decliners in continental Europe were led by biopharmaceutical company Biofrontera (BFRA) and 3D printer maker Materialise (MTLS), which fell 9.7% and 2.7% respectively. They were followed by 3D printer maker voxeljet AG (VJET) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols (GRFS), which were up 2.5% and 2.2%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and cruise line operator Carnival Corporation (CUK), which rose 8.8% 5.8%, respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical firms NuCana (NCNA) and Mereo BioPharma Group (MREO), which increased 5.4% and 4%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by telecommunications operator Vodafone Group (VOD) and data and analytics provider RELX (RELX), which lost 3.1% and 1.1 %, respectively. They were followed by educational publisher Pearson (PSO) and Lloyds Banking Group (LYG), which were off 1% and 0.5%.
