Thursday, January 16, 2020 08:54 AM | Bobby Raines

First Look

Stocks in the U.S. are pointed higher Thursday morning. Details of the trade deal between the U.S. and China that was signed yesterday failed to impress a lot of analysts, but the easing of tensions between the world's two largest economies is a positive. Morgan Stanley (MS) and Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM) are both trading higher after reporting earnings. The Nasdaq is up 0.4%, the S&P 500 is up 0.33%, the Dow Jones is up 0.27%
