Stocks on the Move

Rockwell Automation (ROK), D. R. Horton Inc (DHI) and DXC Technology Co (DXC) are moving higher this morning, while Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (AAP), Tyson Foods, Inc. (TSN) and The Western Union Company (WU) are headed lower. while CSX Corporation (CSX), Box Inc (BOX) and The Western Union Company (WU) were downgraded.

In Europe stocks are up. The DAX is up 0.53%, the FTSE 100 is up 0.33%, the Euro Stoxx 50 is up 0.31% and the CAC 40 is up 0.18%.

Futures & Currencies

Energy futures are up today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up 0.26 at 57.12 per barrel. Brent crude is up 0.28 at 62.46 per barrel. Natural Gas is up 0.03 at 2.67. Precious metals are down this morning. Gold is down -3.41 at 1452.45 per ounce. Platinum is down -0.42 at 875.6 while silver is down -0.03 at 16.77. The dollar is up compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is up against the euro, up against the Yen and up against the Pound.

Put/Call Ratio

Yesterday, 1,234,553 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 868,716 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.7 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.67.
