First Look
Futures are pointed lower Wednesday morning following initial results from midterm elections yesterday with a red wave not coming to fruition as the Senate remains up in the air and the House is closer than projected. Shares of Walt Disney (DIS) are down over 7% this morning after missing earnings and revenue estimates with the corporation also warning that its streaming service platform, Disney+, could see its growth taper going forward. Meanwhile, AMC Entertainment (AMC) shares are down 3.91% with its Preferred Equity (APE) Units down 6.88% as the firm reported its twelfth consecutive quarterly loss despite higher revenue. AMC also reported that it has sold 14.9 million of its "APE" preferred shares so far. The Nasdaq is down -0.11%, the S&P is down -0.19%, the Dow Jones is down -0.32%.

Precious metals are down this morning. Gold is down -4.9 at 1707.52 per ounce. Platinum is down -7.06 at 995.07 while silver is down -0.14 at 21.36. The dollar is up compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is up against the euro, up against the Yen and up against the Pound. Bitcoin is down -10.77% to $17,611.56 while Ethereum is down -17.35% to $1,221.77.
