Stocks start flat

U.S. stocks are showing little change this morning as the dollar gains strength. The S&P 500 is up 0.02%, while the Dow is up 0.03%. Asian stocks ended the day mixed Friday with Japanese markets boosted by a weaker yen. The Shanghai was down 0.49% and the Nikkei was up 0.59%. European stocks are mixed with commodity and bank shares falling. The FTSE is up 0.02%, while the French CAC 40 is down 0.14%. Energy futures are mixed today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up $0.12 to $46.10 per barrel, while natural gas is up $0.05 to $2.92. Metals prices are down this morning. Gold is down $4.10 to $1,212.80 per ounce and platinum is down $14.60 to $930.50. The Dollar is down against the Euro and the Yen. Adeptus Health Inc. (ADPT), Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp.   (SHIP), and Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (MRVL) are early risers, while Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF), The Gap, Inc.
