During trading Friday, 214 stocks traded to a 52-week high, while 60 stocks bottomed out at new 52-week lows. The S&P 500 is down 0.08% so far today while the Dow is up 0.26%, the Nasdaq is down 0.79%, and the Russell 2000 is down 0.34%.
Stocks are mostly lower Friday afternoon following a host of underwhelming earnings reports. The biggest loser today was Snap (SNAP), who has fallen 25% after offering weak guidance and attributing that, and an underwhelming revenue figure to the iOS privacy changes that made data tracking a service users must opt into, rather than being the default that users must opt out of. Facebook, Google, and Twitter all fell following the SNAP report. Meanwhile, Intel (INTC) is down nearly 12% after beating earnings, missing on revenues, and estimates that its margins would shrink to 51-53% during the next few years.
