Goldman Drops, Blink Surges; Stocks, Cryptos Plunge Tuesday

During trading Tuesday, 108 stocks traded to a 52-week high, while 401 stocks bottomed out at new 52-week lows. The S&P 500 is down 1.36% so far today while the Dow is down 1.15%, the Nasdaq is down 1.87%, and the Russell 2000 is down 2.07%.

Stocks and cryptos are plunging Tuesday afternoon. Bank earnings reported this morning failed to tell a different story than Friday's reports. Goldman Sachs (GS) is leading the banking industry lower today, falling 6.99% to the industry's decline of 2.67% as weaker trading and rising expenses (particularly in respect to wages) weigh on the results. Meanwhile, Blink Charging (BLNK) is up 8.38% after a supply deal between Blink and GM was reached which will see the company provide chargers at GM dealerships in the US and Canada, with charges already being shipped to select locations.
