114 Stocks Hit Their Highs Wednesday; Bank of America (BAC) Misses Earnings Estimates

During trading Wednesday, 114 stocks traded to a 52-week high, while 10 stocks bottomed out at new 52-week lows. The S&P 500 is down -0.6% on the day so far. Markets are trending downwards Wednesday after stocks opened up slightly this morning. Bank of America (BAC) reported worse than expected earnings after JPMorgan (JPM) and Citigroup (C) released better than estimated results yesterday. However, Bank of America continued to build their reserves in case of loan defaults with the pandemic still ongoing while JPMorgan and Citigroup actually had less reserves than expected.
