Analysts' Thoughts

Pepsi stock started to rally in late 2018 before getting hit during the market correction. The stock has managed to find support, but has yet to really take part in the 2019 recovery that the overall market has enjoyed. PEP stock did rally following the October report that topped estimates on the top and bottom line for the fourth straight quarter, and we could see another rally on another set of strong numbers. The street is looking for a solid quarter, with a whisper number of $1.52. Should Pepsi manage to post the expected positive earnings surprise the stock will begin erasing some of its December losses and possibly trade back to the record high point it hit at the end of November. Analysts have an average price target of $118.06 on the stock.
