Stocks on the Move

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (CMG), eBay Inc (EBAY) and Prudential Financial Inc (PRU) are moving higher this morning, while Incyte Corporation (INCY), KLA-Tencor Corp (KLAC) and Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) are headed lower. Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. (APD), Biogen Inc (BIIB) and Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) were upgraded by analysts this morning, while Darden Restaurants, Inc. (DRI), Ingersoll-Rand PLC (IR) and Eaton Corporation, PLC Ordinary Shares (ETN) were downgraded.

International Markets

Stocks in Asia are mixed. The Australia ASX All Ordinaries is up 0.69%, the Nikkei 225 is up 0.38%, the Hang Seng is up 0.02% the Mumbai Sensex is down -0.08% and the Shanghai SE Composite Index is down -0.19%.In Europe stocks are mixed. The FTSE 100 is up 0.27%, the Euro Stoxx 50 is up 0.14%, the DAX is up 0.06% and the CAC 40 is down -0.01%.

Futures and Currencies

Energy futures are up today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up 0.27 at 52.14 per barrel. Brent crude is up 0.34 at 58.16 per barrel. Natural Gas is up 0.06 at 3. Precious metals are down this morning. Gold is down -7.02 at 1288.77 per ounce. Platinum is down -2.53 at 928.5 while silver is down -0.24 at 17.13. The dollar is up compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is up against the euro, up against the Yen and up against the Pound.

Yesterday, 838,935 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 583,332 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.70 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.65.
