First Look

Stocks in the U.S. are higher Wednesday ahead of the open, while bonds and the dollar are lower. Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen said in a speech that expectations for inflation seem to be declining, posing risk to the pricing goals should the central bank end its accomodative policies too early. Today’s session is likely to be marked by light volume as many traders take off early for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Dow Jones is up 0.22%, the Nasdaq is up 0.17%, the S&P 500 is up 0.13%.
