Data from China shows that country’s economy moderating, which hurt commodity and energy-linked shares. In Germany, GDP data came in above estimates, pushing the euro higher, which led to a loss for stock markets. The Nasdaq is down -0.12%, the Dow Jones is down -0.16%, the S&P 500 is down -0.21%.

Stocks on the Move
Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (AAP), Delphi Automotive PLC (DLPH) and O'Reilly Automotive Inc (ORLY) are moving higher this morning, while Phillips 66 (PSX), Freeport-McMoRan Inc (FCX) and Home Depot Inc (HD) are headed lower. Automatic Data Processing (ADP), The Coca-Cola Co (KO) and Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings Inc (KNX) were upgraded by analysts this morning, while Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCL), CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (CF) and General Electric Company (GE) were downgraded.
Stocks in Asia are down. The Australia ASX All Ordinaries is down -0.84%, the Shanghai SE Composite Index is down -0.53%, the Mumbai Sensex is down -0.28% the Hang Seng is down -0.1% and the Nikkei 225 is down -0.01%.In Europe stocks are mixed. The FTSE 100 is up 0.17%, the DAX is down -0.18%, the CAC 40 is down -0.28% and the Euro Stoxx 50 is down -0.32%.
Futures and Currencies
Energy futures are down today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is down -0.3 at 56.46 per barrel. Brent crude is down -0.4 at 62.76 per barrel. Natural Gas is down -0.06 at 3.1. Precious metals are mixed this morning. Gold is down -2.59 at 1275.72 per ounce. Platinum is up 0.78 at 933.13 while silver is down -0.1 at 16.95. The dollar is mixed compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is down against the euro, down against the Yen and up against the Pound.
Yesterday, 920230 call contracts traded on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) compared to 632128 put contracts. The single-session put/call was 0.686923921193615 while the 20-day moving average is now at 0.65.
