Stocks on the Move
Micron Technology, Inc. (MU), United Continental Holdings Inc (UAL) and Intel Corporation (INTC) are moving higher this morning, while QUALCOMM, Inc. (QCOM), General Electric Company (GE) and Alaska Air Group, Inc. (ALK) are headed lower. Century Aluminum Co (CENX), Pampa Energia S.A. (ADR) (PAM) and Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (LECO) were upgraded by analysts this morning, while Alteryx Inc (AYX), Cooper Tire & Rubber Co (CTB) and CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (CF) were downgraded.
Stocks in Asia are mixed. The Nikkei 225 is up 0.66%, the Hang Seng is up 0.02%, the Mumbai Sensex is down -0.18% the Australia ASX All Ordinaries is down -0.4% and the Shanghai SE Composite Index is down -0.49%.In Europe stocks are mixed. The CAC 40 is up 0.28%, the Euro Stoxx 50 is up 0.14%, the DAX is down -0.07% and the FTSE 100 is down -0.32%.

Energy futures are mixed today. The price for West Texas Intermediate crude oil is down -0.07 at 61.29 per barrel. Brent crude is down -0.18 at 64.77 per barrel. Natural Gas is up 0.03 at 2.81. Precious metals are mixed this morning. Gold is down -3.7 at 1319.4 per ounce. Platinum is up 0.34 at 963.95 while silver is down -0.02 at 16.52. The dollar is mixed compared to the major currencies today. The greenback is down against the euro, up against the Yen and up against the Pound.
