1. AT&T (T)

Berkshire Hathaway purchased over 59 million shares of AT&T. This purchase coincides with Berkshire Hathaway selling off all of its over 31 million DIRECTV shares. AT&T and DIRECTV announced earlier this year that the two companies will merge together.

AT&T currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). The company has outperformed on earnings the past 2 quarters by 8.82% and 9.52%. AT&T is ranked 2nd of 17 companies in our National Wireless Industry, and has a PE value of 11.95.
