ROKU down following big gain, here’s why

Roku Inc (ROKU) has fallen -4.17% while the S&P 500 has gained 0.48% as of 12:19 PM on Tuesday, Jan 8. ROKU is lower by -$1.76 from the previous closing price of $42.18 on volume of 30,383,988 shares. Over the past year the S&P 500 is lower by -6.76% while Roku Inc is lower by -14.85%. ROKU lost -$0.64 share in the most-recent quarter.

After posting a 25% move to the upside yesterday, ROKU is down following a tweet from Citron Research that said ROKU stock is uninvestable now. Citron tweeted that following the Apple/Samsung team-up, ROKU CEO selling last week, and short interest at lows, the risk/reward is no longer there and that they expect a big retracement. 

Meanwhile, the major indices are rising. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 0.87% to 23,735.07. The NASDAQ has gained 0.62% to 6,866.08. The S&P 500 has risen 0.48% to 2,561.88.
