Industries doing well today include Building Products, Banks, and Multiline Retail. Industries showing weakness include Construction Materials, Household Durables, and Interactive Media & Services. The VIX is down 0.03 to 16.33 after the previous close of 16.36. The most heavily traded options this morning are for the iShares Russell 2000 Index (IWM), with 17,548 Nov 16 150 puts on the board. The total put/call ratio as of 10:00 AM was 0.97 (334,951/346,880). The advancers/decliners ratio for NYSE stocks is 1,409/1,482 while the advancers/decliners ratio for NASDAQ stocks is 1,378/1,598.
