European markets rise as Scotland stays

U.S. markets are headed up Friday morning as investors await the Alibaba IPO. The S&P 500 is up 0.25% and the Dow is up 0.39%. 

Asian markets finished mostly higher Friday with Japanese stocks leading the way. The Hang Seng was up 0.57%  and the Nikkei rose 1.58%.

European stocks are moving up today after Scotland voted to remain in the United Kingdom. The FTSE is up 0.56%, and the DAX is up 0.33%.

Energy futures are down today. West Texas Intermediate crude oil is $91.74 per barrel, down $0.24 and natural gas is down $0.04. Metals prices are down. Gold is off $3.40 and platinum is down $2.40. The Dollar is up versus the Euro and down against the Yen.

Concur Technologies, Inc. (CNQR), Dresser-Rand Group Inc.  (DRC) and InvenSense, Inc.  (INVN), are up.  TIBCO Software Inc.  (TIBX), SAP SE (SAP) and Valmont Industries, Inc.(VMI) are down.
