Industries doing well today include Trading Companies & Distributors, Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Goods, and Specialty Retail. Industries showing weakness include Construction Materials, Health Care Technology, and Technology Hardware, Storage & Peripherals. The VIX is down 0.64 to 14.24 after the previous close of 14.88. The most heavily traded options this morning are for the iShares Barclays 20+ Yr Treas.Bond ETF (TLT), with 7,540 Sept 21 121 puts on the board. The total put/call ratio as of 10:00 AM was 1.34 (328,673/244,994). The advancers/decliners ratio for NYSE stocks is 1,861/1,046, while the advancers/decliners ratio for NASDAQ stocks is 1,670/1,278.
