Options behavior in a falling market. In a falling market it is possible that the short option may not reduce in value at the same rate as the underlying security due to the remaining time value.
All stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, and other financial instruments shown are examples only, meant for educational purposes. These are not recommendations to buy or sell any security. Any pricing or potential profitability shown does not take into account your trade size, brokerage commissions or taxes which will affect actual investment returns. Investment examples and comments presented are solely those of the analysts, experts, or information source quoted. They do not represent the opinions of InvestorsObserver.com on whether to buy, sell or hold shares of a particular stock or option. Investors should be cautious about any and all stock or option recommendations and should consider the source of any advice on stock or option selection. Various factors, including personal or corporate ownership, may influence or factor into an expert’s stock analysis or opinion. All investors are advised to conduct their own independent research into individual stocks before making an investment decision. In addition, investors are advised that past stock or option performance is no guarantee of future price appreciation or depreciation. Those involved with the preparation and distribution of InvestorsObserver content may have had in the past, currently hold, or may purchase in the future stock and/or options in companies discussed in this content. It is expected that the limited distribution of this content to a relatively small number of investor will not materially affect the prices of widely held stocks we cover.
InvestorsObserver does not give individualized market advice. We publish information regarding companies in which we believe our readers may be interested and our reports reflect our sincere opinions. However, they are not intended to be personalized recommendations to buy, hold, or sell securities. Investments in the securities markets and especially in options, are speculative and involve substantial risk. Only you can determine what level of risk is appropriate for you. Prior to buying or selling an option, an investor must have a copy of Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options. In addition, you can access and download the booklet on The Options/Clearing Corporations’s (OCC) website at http://www.optionsclearing.com/about/publications/publication-listing.jsp. This booklet is also available for free from your broker or from any of the U.S. options exchanges. We encourage our readers to invest carefully and to utilize the information available at the web sites of the Securities and Exchange Commission at http://www.sec.gov and the National Association of Securities Dealers at http://www.nasd.com. You can review public companies’filings at the SEC’s EDGAR page. The NASD has published information on how to invest carefully at its web site. We encourage you to get personal advice from your professional investment advisor and to make independent investigations before acting on information that we publish. Most of our information is derived directly from information published by the companies on which we report and/or from other sources we believe are reliable, without our independent verification. Therefore, we cannot assure you that the information is accurate or complete. We do not in any way warrant or guarantee the success of any action which you take in reliance on our statements or articles you find on this site. Our personnel may own positions in the equities mentioned in our content. However, all employees are prohibited from any transaction that directly or indirectly intentionally competes with the interests of our subscribers. We are not compensated in any way for publishing information about companies mentioned in our reports. Performance figures are based on actual trade ideas published by InvestorsObserver. Due to the time-critical nature of stock and options trading, brokerage fees, and the activity of other subscribers, InvestorsObserver cannot guarantee that subscribers will mirror the exact performance stated on our track records or promotions. Performance numbers shown are based on trades subscribers could enter based on our tracking guidelines. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future performance.

- registration, subscription, or application data,
- site usage data
- voluntary postings
Registration, Subscription, or Application Data
The only individually identifiable information that InvestorsObserver seeks about you is that which you are asked to provide when you register or subscribe. This information includes your name, mailing address, e-mail address, and billing information.
Site Usage Data
We collect non-identifiable information to measure how our Members use the InvestorsObserver web sites. This information may include statistics about the number and timing of unique visits to InvestorsObserver, repeat visits, and which pages are viewed. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
InvestorsObserver offers several avenues for Members to volunteer statements, opinions, or other information which is then may be made available to others on Investor Observer web sites. We do not require Members to include personally-identifiable information in these postings. The content of a voluntary posting is the sole responsibility of the Member who posts it, subject to the applicable Usage Agreement.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Your registration, subscription, and purchase data will be closely protected.
Many of the features on InvestorsObserver web sites are designed to be “personalized” to meet the needs and interests of our Members. To support this personalization, we need to be able to identify your account each time you log in to an InvestorsObserver web site.
We may combine your application data and information about your usage of our Site with those of all or a particular group of our members, to prepare aggregated, non-identifiable profiles of our members and their activities on our Site. For example, we may track the number of our members who view certain pages or use certain features. Such information and other aggregated information we derive from individual members’information, allows us to continue to grow and provide you with timely and useful information through our Site.
With regard to our advertisers, we may provide them with non-identifiable information about Investor Observer web site traffic. This information may also be disclosed in describing our web sites and services to prospective business partners and other third parties. However, this information about website traffic will not include personally-identifiable information such as registration, subscription, or individual page-views.
InvestorsObserver reserves the right to disclose information as required by law, or to the extent that we believe in good faith that such disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect others’rights or property.
InvestorsObserver uses registration and subscription information to maintain records about your use of InvestorsObserver services for billing purposes, and for us to occasionally send you information about products and services that InvestorsObserver offers. If you do not wish to receive this information you may “opt out” by sending an email stating such to support@InvestorsObserver.com.
We may also occasionally provide the names, postal mailing addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers of Members to third parties who offer products, services, or information which we believe may be of interest to you. If you do not want us to provide this information, you may “opt out” by sending an email stating such to support@InvestorsObserver.com.
Members who have not been receiving information from InvestorsObserver or third parties but now wish to receive such information may “opt in” by sending an email stating such to support@InvestorsObserver.com.
Whenever a member establishes a subscription for a paid level of service, InvestorsObserver will remove that member’s email address from our opt-out list if it appears there.

CAN YOU ACCESS INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF?
i.Yes. At any time after you have registered for our Elite membership, you may personally access, review and/or modify the information in your membership profile. You may request access to your records by sending a request to support@InvestorsObserver.com. Upon your making any changes, any new item of information will replace the corresponding information previously provided.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY INFORMATION IF I AM NO LONGER A MEMBER?
Former Members’registration and subscription information is retained unless you ask us to delete it. You may request that your registration or subscription data be deleted from our system by sending a request to support@InvestorsObserver.com.
How is your information protected?
We use industry-standard encryption methods to transmit credit card information submitted by Members between your computer and our credit card processor across the Internet. We restrict access to any transactional portions of our web sites to computers running web browsers that support the Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) protocol. To use this protection technology, members need to have an SSL-capable browser. These browsers will automatically activate the encryption technology when you log on to one of our sites.
Please remember that you play a valuable part in data security as well. Your passwords to access our web sites, should never be shared with anyone and should be changed frequently. After you have finished using one or more of our sites, you should log off and exit your browser so that no unauthorized persons can use our sites under your name and account information. Remember that any information you voluntarily disclose on-line in any news or message postings, discussion groups or chat rooms may be collected and used by others without your permission. Furthermore, if you provide any information to parties who operate web sites that are linked to or from one or more of our websites, different policies may apply to their collection, use or disclosure of your personal information. We encourage you to review these external sites’policies carefully before revealing any sensitive or personal information.
Regardless of the precautions taken by you or by us, “perfect security” does not exist on the Internet. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you transmit such information at your own risk.
Restrictions on Access by Children
Federal law restricts our ability to collect information from children online. For this and other reasons, InvestorsObserver’s web sites are open only to persons 18 years of age and over. All Members are required to certify that they are 18 years of age or over. If we learn that a Member is under age 18, his or her access to InvestorsObserver will be immediately terminated with no further obligation to InvestorsObserver, and all identifiable information will be deleted. Misrepresenting age is a violation of our Usage Agreement and will not be tolerated.
SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION
Please remember that voluntary postings submitted to our website are subject to widespread distribution. As set forth in InvestorsObserver’s Usage Agreements, Members are solely responsible for the content of their postings and must follow acceptable standards of behavior when posting messages online. Voluntary postings by Members become the property of InvestorsObserver and we cannot restrict disclosures of or otherwise guarantee the privacy of any information contained in such postings.
Our service offers an auto-trade feature where trade ideas are sent directly to a subscriber’s broker. We do not in any way determine the investor’s fitness for the trades, which is the responsibility of the investor and his or her financial advisor or broker. Any auto-trade arrangement is purely between the investor and their broker. In order to verify that the member is eligible for use of our auto-trading services, the member gives InvestorsObserver permission to verify account name and email address with their broker.
If you have any further questions, please email our support team at support@InvestorsObserver.com.
