1) Why Do We Really Need Disney (DIS), Molson Coors (TAP), and Pepsi (PEP)? Lee’s take on AAPL, V, MA, AXP, DELL, HPQ, MSFT, C, WFC, BAC, WFMI, ADM, KFT, HAS, MO, RAI, and LO.

Last week’s article on the rise in dominance of U.S. Government labor unions created quite a stir. Email comments came in from readers far and wide. They included supporters from Oregon and livid complaints from U.S. Government labor union members who voiced their opinions that, like the humans kept sedated and used to power giant Apple (AAPL) Macintosh computers in the science fiction movie Matrix, our only purpose in life is to serve their needs. They say we should only be concerned with two things; 1) working; and 2) paying taxes. We can leave the rest, including all decision making of any kind, to the government.
|
Needless to say, my regular paper mail service has been spotty this week, since one of the largest groups of Government labor union members are postal workers and I think I am on their black list.
So this week I turn to lighter subjects… Drinking booze, having fun, and false rumors about carbonated colas…
