Last week, I talked about some stocks that missed out on the big rally we had in the second quarter, and, in doing so, I ended up with a bearish hedged trade on Continental Airlines (CAL).

This week, our analysts are identifying trends and opportunities in the airline industry, so I am going to take a different approach than I did last week. Instead of looking for losers, I will be looking for a company that might be able to buck the overall trend and rack up profits for investors.

In general, the airline industry is in a shambles. The reasons for this are many, and have been talked about for a long time.
